Bell Flowers

Harebell
In Scotland these are called "Bluebells" ... In Roman catholic communities, the Harebell is dedicated to Saint Dominic.

*** Actually I'm not quite sure, maybe the blueflowers below [left] are harebells!

Thistle is the National Flower of Scotland ... It stands as a symbol of defence.

Chicory
These lovely blue flowers are growing all along the roadside. The roots of Common Chicory are roasted to create a coffee-substitute and they are also used as an ingredient some herbal teas.

I love its brilliant yellow, maroon & red colors. These are light sensitive flowers, so close down in the night or when its coludy.
